Course Overview
Pressure ulcers (also known as bedsores) are a significant risk to service users with limited mobility, yet they are largely preventable with the right knowledge. The Pressure Care module is designed to empower carers with the skills to identify early warning signs, implement preventative strategies, and understand the vital importance of skin integrity.
Delivered at our West Hampstead Academy—the area’s only facility offering unrivalled hands-on training—this module focuses on a proactive approach to care that protects the health and dignity of every service user.
Training Efficiency & Logistics
Our training is designed to be as efficient as it is thorough:
- Same-Day Delivery: Gain vital clinical prevention skills in a single face-to-face session.
- 3 to 4 Courses Per Day: Maximize your professional development by stacking this module with others, such as Dementia Care or Moving & Handling, during your visit.
- Interactive Learning: We limit sessions to 10 learners per day. This small group size allows for meaningful discussion regarding skin assessment and positioning techniques.
Certification & Trust
We provide industry-leading documentation that proves your competency:
- 3-Year Validity: All Pressure Care certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
- QR Code Validation: Every certificate features a unique QR code. This allows employers or CQC inspectors to verify your training credentials instantly, ensuring your skills are recognised and trusted.
