Course Overview
Dementia Care is about seeing the person, not just the diagnosis. This module is designed to move beyond the clinical definition of memory loss and explore the lived experience of those with dementia. You will gain the skills to deliver compassionate, person-centred support that reduces distress and promotes a high quality of life for your service users.
Delivered at our West Hampstead Academy—the area’s only facility offering unrivalled hands-on training—this module provides the emotional and practical tools needed to navigate the complexities of cognitive decline with empathy and skill.
Training Efficiency & Logistics
We provide a training schedule that respects your time while ensuring high-quality learning:
- Same-Day Delivery: Complete your specialized dementia training in a single, focused face-to-face session.
- 3 to 4 Courses Per Day: Our Academy structure allows you to pair this module with others, such as Safeguarding or General Care, in one visit.
- Reflective Learning Groups: We limit sessions to 10 learners per day. This small group size is perfect for the sensitive discussions, role-play, and experience-sharing that make dementia training effective.
Certification & Trust
Your expertise is backed by secure, industry-leading certification:
- 3-Year Validity: All Dementia Care certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
- QR Code Validation: Every certificate features a unique QR code. This allows employers or CQC inspectors to verify your credentials instantly, building unrivalled trust in your professional capability.
