Course Overview
In a home care setting, you are the primary defense against the spread of illness. The Infection Control module is designed to equip carers with the rigorous standards required to prevent and manage infections. From seasonal viruses to healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs), this course ensures you can protect yourself, your service users, and the wider community.
Delivered at our West Hampstead Academy—the area’s premier facility for continuous professional development—this module goes beyond handwashing to explore the science of hygiene and the practicalities of a sterile work environment.
Training Efficiency & Logistics
We provide a training structure built for the needs of the modern care workforce:
- Same-Day Delivery: Get your face-to-face certification completed in one efficient session.
- 3 to 4 Courses Per Day: Our Academy is designed for “stackable” learning, allowing you to complete this module alongside others like General Care or Catheter Care in a single day.
- Maximum Engagement: We limit our sessions to 10 learners per day, ensuring our expert trainers can observe and correct your techniques in real-time.
Certification & Trust
Your training is backed by secure, industry-standard verification:
- 3-Year Validity: All Infection Control certificates remain valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
- QR Code Validation: Every certificate is issued with a unique QR code. This allows employers, managers, or CQC inspectors to scan and verify your training status instantly, ensuring 100% confidence in your compliance.
